- Go on a Fall Colours Hike. Glenbow Ranch is one of our favorite places to see blazing aspen groves. For larches, try the Lake Agnes Teahouse, Ptarmigan Cirque, Tryst Lake, or trails from the top of the Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola.

Bonus: Did you know we have ice falls in town? Visit Waterfall Valley, Bowmont Park or Fish Creek Provincial Park to see frozen falls. Waterfall Valley’s falls are small, so they freeze any time the weather gets below zero. For the much larger ice falls in Fish Creek Park, try late November or early December unless we get an early cold snap.
